I was busily backing up my Moodle courses today prior to an upgrade, and found amongst one of the courses that I opened by accident, a rather inspiring video (thanks to Giedre and Thom). It is a thought-provoking snap shot of Web 2.0 that considers the social and cultural implications of digital text, social linking, collaborative creation and more. Really nicely put together, it is an engaging introduction to Web 2.0.
I've been busy over the last couple of weeks recording and creating "How to..." vodcasts using Camtasia Studio (TechSmith). The application is awesome, and I am finding it great to use - unfortunately there is not a Mac compatible version as yet. Please feel free to have a look at the vodcasts, and do let me know if you have any feedback.

I am in the process of developing a draft process diagram that may be of help to teachers wishing to adapt existing resources to take advantage of ICT enhanced learning solutions. Any comments of feedback would be appreciated as this is only a draft! (Medium size version of the image)

Nick Marsden from Unitec New Zealand ran a training session in June 2008 with the UATI School to discuss ideas that would help students access the technical texts required as part of their vocational courses.

I'm just working on a conceptual framework to help situate educators who would like to integrate ICT into their curricula and their teaching. However, I am keen to emphasise the underlying pedagogical beliefs, as well as the existing knowledge, and the intentions that underpin the design process, rather than focussing on the technology. So far I have developed two figures. If you have any comments, please feel free :-)
This is a short video that introduces me, what my role is in the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation, and a little bit about my background.
